Myakka River State Park is one of Florida's oldest and largest state parks. The "Florida Wild and Scenic Myakka River" flows through 57 square miles of wetlands, prairies and woodlands. Myakka is popular for hiking, fishing, camping, and wildlife observation.
Many trails are stroller friendly so bring the little ones to enjoy all the natural beauty Florida has to offer. This is also a great place for a party, large or small picnic and with camp sites for RVs up to 35 foot you can stay for a while and see it all!
